About Matt
Born and raised on the Central Coast of California, Matt enjoyed many sports growing up, basketball being his favorite. But at 5’8” and a 6” vertical leap, he was clear that the NBA would not be in his future. So golf it would be. Since starting the game at 6 years old, Matt now has 50 years experience playing, and 30 years teaching the great game of golf. As a PGA Member for over 25 years, Matt is available for individual, group, and junior lessons, Matt’s approach to teaching is to keep it as simple as possible, without the latest technical jargon you might find on the internet!

About Julia
Born and raised in Charlottesville, VA, I attended Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Marketing and Spanish. Joining Invited in 2021, I helped build and edit many of our websites. Now, as the Member Experience Manager at Piedmont, I am filled with excitement for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead! My passions extend beyond work; I enjoy traveling, having recently visited Spain, Portugal, the UK, and France. In my downtime, I cherish moments with loved ones, including my dog, Mano. Reading, drawing, and the occasional gaming also bring me joy. Reading and drawing have been lifelong hobbies of mine. As for gaming, there's nothing like immersing myself in a whole new world and challenging my skills.

About Pete
A Jacksonville native graduated from Wolfson High School in 1998 before attending the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts in St. Augustine, Florida. When graduating in 2000. Chef Pete has been exposed to various areas of the culinary industry, including managing a gourmet food truck and resort restaurants, owning restaurants, developing restaurants, bar/lounge design concepts, baking and pastries. Chef Pete went on to become a Chef de Cuisine at the young age of 22 at Restaurant Medure in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. At a Four Diamond Restaurant he was the youngest African-American chef ever to run a Four-star restaurant in the state of Florida at that time. With over 22 years of professional experience, Chef Smith has directed many areas of Food & Beverage Divisions at the Forbes Five-Star level. His first passion for cooking is complemented by his experience, which spans the entire culinary industry spectrum.
