A relatively short par 4 with a wide fairway. Favor the right side of the fairway from the tee. A strong tee shot will lead to a mid to short iron into the green. Fairway bunker on the left can be avoided by favoring the right center or right side of fairway. Your approach will require some height in order to stop the ball quickly. The first bounce on this green is typically a firm one, so play for some release.

A medium length par 4 that dog legs slightly left. Tee shot should favor the right side of the fairway. A strong tee shot with some draw shape is ideal. The large tree on the left side of the hole will knock any tee shot too far left straight down into the rough. Favor the right side of the green with your approach shot. Any shot that lands left of the center of the green will release left quickly toward the creek. First bounce is typically firm, so play for some release.

This short par 3 has teeth! Favor the right side of the green as shots typically release left on this surface. Bunkers right of the green will provide a very challenging up & down. Miss here is short of the front of the green. Shots that land on the left side of this green typically release hard left toward the creek. Height on your shot is a premium on this challenging par 3.

Welcome to the straightest par 4 on the Whitworth! Typically, this fairway is fast, and you will see a lot of roll on your tee shot. Very open fairway awaits you off the tee with mounds down the right side of the hole. Stronger players may opt for less than driver off this tee in order to have a fuller swing into the green. This green releases from the front to the back. An approach with height is ideal. Any approach coming in low will need to land short of the green or have a lot of back spin.

The first par 5 on the Whitworth course. Favor the right side of the hole in order to avoid the fairway bunker on the left. This hole is reachable with two great shots. Lay up shots should be played down the left side of the fairway in order to allow for the best angle into the green for your third. This green has two tiers. Important to be in the right section of the green in order to have an easier putt.

Multiple fairway bunkers on this hole make for a challenging tee shot. A strong tee shot can carry the fairway bunker on the right side. Pay attention to your aim point in order to not hit over the right bunker and into the left bunker. Tee shots down the right side will be rewarded with a shorter approach but a more challenging angle into the green. If you’re going to miss this green you should be short of the front. Shots that miss left or right will lead to very challenging up & down.

Average length par 5 with a massive fairway. You can hit down the right side or the left side from the tee. Aggressive players will favor the left side in order to have a shorter 2nd shot into the green possibly. If you’re playing this hole as a three-shot par 5, then you should favor the right side and stay away from the pond on the left. Distance control is key on your 3rd shot. Anything short of the middle of the green may feed down toward the water greenside. Long is an acceptable miss, but your nerve will be tested as you pitch back toward the water.

A strong par 3 with a pond in front and right of the green. The wind can be tricky on this hole as the green sits below a hill behind the green and an elevated tree line. Check the wind on the flags on the homes on the left side of the hole. The flag on the hole location typically doesn’t move even when there is wind above the green. The bailout is short and left. This will leave you a relatively straight forward, but fast pitch onto the green.

This uphill par 4 offers a nice opportunity for birdie with a good tee shot. Fairway bunkers on the left need to be avoided by playing down the right of the hole. The further right off the tee the better angle into the green you’ll have for your approach. Be sure to adjust for the uphill approach shot by taking more club. An approach that is long or right will offer a straightforward opportunity for up & down. Anything short will end up in the deep front bunker.

Hole 10 is a par 5 that requires two well thought out shots to be on the green in regulation. Off the tee play to the right-to-right center of the fairway. This allows you the best angle for your second shot. On your second you want to play to the left of the first fairway bunker. Playing to the left side of the fairway will give you a clear look at the green for your short approach shot.

Hole 11 is a par 4 that plays uphill with trees on both sides of the fairway. The play off the tee is to aim at the bunker on the left and work the ball back to the center of the fairway. For your approach aim for the center of the green.

Hole 12 is an uphill dog leg right par 4. The play off the tee is to aim at the big tree to the right of the bunker on the left. For your approach shot avoid missing the green to the left.

Hole 13 is a par 3 with a narrow green in the front with a large bunker on the right side. For your tee shot play to the center of the green and play for par.

Hole 14 is a long dog leg left par 5. Off the tee there is a reachable bunker left and right that you want to avoid. Second shot you will want to play for the center of the fairway. Play your ball to the yardage that you are comfortable playing from. The green on the 14th has a ridge in the middle and slopes back to front along with right to left. Plan your approach shot accordingly.

Hole 15 is a short par 4 with water in front and a narrow green. Off the tee you want to hit a tee shot to the yardage you want for your approach shot. On your approach the key is to take enough club to reach the center of the green.

Hole 16 is a dog leg left par 4. If you want to be aggressive on this hole aim over the trees on the left and let it fly. If you choose to play it safe the shot should stay to the middle to right middle of the fairway. The green slopes back to front so plan to hit your approach below the hole.

Hole 17 is a straight away par 3. The green is protected on the right by bunkers and on the left by a steep slope. Play for the center of the green and walk to 18 after making par.

Hole 18 is a straight away par 4. The tee shot is key as you have trees and out of bounds on the right. Play for the left side of the fairway off the tee. Your approach shot can not miss short and right. Take enough club to reach the center of the green and favor the left side of the green.
